5 Best Mobile Apps For The Book Readers_prabin_rai_in_2020

#1. Audible is one among the world most popular mobile app for the Audiobook. It comes with a premium subscription plan which is quite troublesome for the average readers. Most likely who doesn’t like to invest in reading? Moreover, those who like to spend some penny and wants to experience premium and high-quality audiobooks they can take advantage of this application.

However, this is one of the most fascinating tools or the app for the readers like you and I. It has millions of audiobooks, radio podcast, recorded speech etc. Since I have tried this app but I barely like it due to its quite high range subscription plan about $14.95 per month. Although it is better than any other mobile apps for the listeners.

At last, you can use this app anywhere, anytime and listen to an audiobook, you must have internet connectivity or pre-downloaded audiobooks.

#2. Amazon Kindle App is free and the best mobile app for the book readers because it gives us a mobile-friendly and paperless reading environment. This app comes with a free and ultimate reading plan. Ranging from Kindle Ultimate at $9.99 per month and for the Amazon Prime subscription, which includes Prime Reading at $12.99 per month.

Once you subscribe to this plan, you will access complete freedom to explore millions of title and the audiobook also. Amazon Kindle App is available in Android, iOS, PC and Mac.

Talking about the feature, it gives Flipmode paper navigating experience and direct connection over millions of readers through Goodreads. Adding, it has mobile magazine reading mode as well. Moreover, this app is available at free of cost in the Google Play Store, Apple App Store, Microsoft Store etc.

My personal reviews on this app are very good because it gives us more freedom of reading than carrying the book. Although, it has good reading mode and offline ebooks too. Give a try if you haven’t yet, or else upgrade to its ultimate plan but only if you’re book lovers and listeners.

#3. Librivox is the open-source library of Audiobook. They called it “..free public domain audiobooks” means store only public domain content due to copyright issue.

Personally, I like Librivox, not because of its free public domain audiobooks but its download availability is widely appreciable. Widening from ZIP file to Torrents format.

You can listen and read the audiobooks and the book itself. It is one of the most popular and free platforms for book readers. You can download the audiobooks from Librivox as well.

Talking about the device platforms, it is available in the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. Download now and start listening to hundreds of books if you are true book readers. One of the best mobile apps for book readers.

#4.StoryShots [For business ideas and motivation] is a mobile-based platform available in both the iOS and Android app store. It offers the free business audiobook summaries. App praised by Bill Gates’ favourite author because of its short and informative content.

If you’re that person who would like the business books but doesn’t have much time to read then you can try this app. Personally, I recommend this app to you all because it gave me a time of listening to business audiobooks within a couple of minutes.

The main advantage of using this mobile app is its short summary based audiobooks that saves your time. I must say there are some cons too. You cannot minimize the player window and scroll to other audiobooks summaries during playback mode. And sometime it could become quite unstable too, mostly in a poor network.

Generally, this is one of the best mobile apps for book readers. Especially when you want to procure all the business knowledge and the idea within a short period of time. Don’t waste your time but just give a try.

#5. GIGL (Hindi & English is popular in India and its subcontinent. Available in both the iOS and the Android. It offers a wide range of the book summaries and comes with both the free and premium plan. Most relentless thing is that its way of summarising books.

I have been using this app for 3 years. But still, my best choice to catch up on important information in a short period of time. Narrator’s voice is just wow her whole tone of narrating and summarising leaves the remarkable spot.

Now talking about the features and type of books. It focuses on motivational, biography, business and strategy books. It produces a summary in both PDF and audio format. Generally, you can download the summary and listen anywhere anytime.

I hope you all liked this post. I must say it is really hard working activities to read books. Especially in this verge of social media and the mobile gaming age. But remember one who reads book never fails in his life because it develops a reading habit in both the academic and non-academic field.
